The Project on Student Debt

A HANDFUL OF COLLEGES HAVE BEEN CONCERNED ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF DEBT THEIR STUDENTS HAVE BY THE TIME THEY GRADUATE. They have made a commitment to no longer give loans to students meeting certain criteria (ex. Family income below federal poverty level) but instead give direct grants and scholarships.
