Preparing Employees

Help your employees succeed with their college aspirations by:

• Scheduling a College for ME-Androscoggin’s Portable Aspirations Lab (PAL) for Lunch n’ Learn or other forms of workshop sessions on-site that:
  1. Get employees the information they need to find an educational pathway
  2. Help employees complete skills and interest inventories
  3. Aid employees in doing college exploration, financial aid searches, and college admission
• Book a time at the CareerCenter for employees to get career development help, or encourage them to attend an Essentials of College Planning Workshop regularly offered at the CareerCenter by the Maine Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC). Register online
• Develop individual Education Plans for all or some of your employees.
• Establish employer-to-employee coaching/goal setting on attaining higher Education.
